Skinning knives from 9.5 point buck...

Knife is made from all recycled materials. Handle is Maple and Mahogany fro cabinet maker cut offs. The steel guard is from pieces scraps. Black and red resin spacers are from laundry basket. Brass liners are from a plumbing fixture. Blade is from a used Farriers rasp.

Home made handle press, not very fancy but gets the job done.

3 ready for handle shaping.

Soldering the guard on.

Was able to get 4 blades from 2 rasps by hand forging them and drawing out the tangs to lengthen them.

Hot stuff!

Two blades before the tang was drawn out. The third item was a handle i was working on for wife antique coca cola cooler.
